Cookies

In this sub-section are listed the cookies used by our site.

Embedded content from other sites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, content posted on social networks, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were on that other site.

These websites may therefore collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, and track your interactions with these embedded contents if you have an account connected to their website. For more information, please refer to the legal notices and privacy policies of these sites.

Statistics and audience measurement

To measure the audience of our site, we use the third-party service Google Analytics, which may leave a cookie in your browser to identify, for example, future new visits you may make to the site, and thus distinguish new visitors from others. The information collected by this third-party tool does not allow us to identify you.

Our web site administrators can view these visit statistics anonymously. Please note that our web host collects anonymous statistical data in order to measure the overall audience of our site for its own analysis, to monitor the security of its servers and, if necessary, to bill us for the use of bandwidth by visitors to our site.

The lifetime of a connection cookie is from two days to one year. If you check “Remember me”, your login cookie will be kept for 1 year. If you clear your browser’s cookies, the login cookie will be deleted.

Site access security tool (third party)

Security audit logs containing information about site logins and activities are stored in the cloud. These logs include the IP address and, if the information was submitted, the contact information related to the form. This data is stored for 30 days to 12 months for security purposes.

Similarly, another third party, in charge of storing so-called “cache” data, stores this data on the cloud for 7 days via a CDN, which may include: IP, referer, connection location, and internet service provider.

Use and transmission of your personal data

When you use a contact form on this site to send us information, the information is kept in our mailbox. By default, we do not share your personal information with anyone. However, we may use it when we are actually working on your case, after a business relationship that does not exist on this site.

The rights you have over your data

If you have sent a message from a contact form on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you on this site, including the data you have provided to us. You may also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Transmission of your personal data

The server hosting our website is located in France. In this sense, any data hosted on this site and concerning you is stored on European territory. Nevertheless, and although the service providers concerned are directly concerned and governed by the rules applicable in the European Union, please note that your information may be transferred outside the European Union. The European data protection law implies that the data of European residents transferred outside the European Union are protected under the same conditions as if they were in Europe.

For example, statistical tracking data (via Google Analytics) is transferred to secure processing and storage servers that may be located anywhere in the world (so-called “cloud” technology). Similarly, data sent via a contact form, called transactional emails (Mandrill system), transit through secure servers that may be located anywhere in the world. This last service does not store the content of the messages sent, but it keeps a trace of their passage (sender address, dates, times).

Finally, the messages sent by visitors via the contact forms are verified using an automated service to detect the sending of unwanted messages (Google captcha). This service is likely to analyze your IP and your behavior during the filling and sending of the form with the sole purpose of avoiding the sending of “spam” messages to us.

Additional information

How we protect your data

Access to the administration of the site involves a certain number of protection and warning devices linked to the connection. Thus, only the site administrators have access to the data (called “logs”) linked to the contact forms. In addition to a password management policy with a higher number of digits than recommended, and respecting the rules of good security practice, administrators have limited access to the use of double authentication.

The system and the site’s functionalities are updated several times a month in order to always have the most recent and most secure configurations.

Third-party services that provide us with data

If your website receives user data from third-party sources – which includes advertising sources – this information should be included in the third-party data section of your privacy statement.
